Amounts Needed
Amounts needed to create your stone.
Do not worry if you don’t have enough ash/hair/fur as other carbon is added to help your stones growth.
- Any combination of ashes, hair and fur can be used.
- Any age of cremation ashes, hair etc is fine recent or from years ago.
- We can create for you as many jewels as you require from these amounts.
Hair
A standard hair trim.
Or cut a 4cm by 4cm aprox 1.5 inch by 1.5inch square from paper or card, cover with hair.
If you have more than this that’s great if you send us as much as you can that’s great we will take the required amounts.
Cremation Ashes
30-100 grams - 1 heaped to 3 tablespoons. Your local funeral director will do this for you, if you require.
Nail Clippings
As not everyone has hair, we can extract the carbon from nails
Send 5-10 clippings up to 20
Fur
Again the same as hair-4cmx4cm square covering.
More if possible.(up to 15 by 15) -20grams
Tail hair eg from a horse as above.
Remember any combination can be used-
hair with hair
hair with cremation ashes
fur with hair
or fur with cremation ashes and hair.
Package either into a plastic container or zip bag or how you would pack any other valuable item.
